Recommendation Information
That Superintendent's Recommendation #20-34, Approval of Gifts to Cambridge Public Schools, be adopted as follows: that the School Committee accept and approve the following gifts and receipts as described.
1. A donation of $4,000.00 to the RSTA/CRLS FIRST Robotics team made by Analog Devices, Inc.
2. A grant of $300 to the King School Library made by the American Library Federation
3. A gift of $1,000 to CRLS made by the Laura A. Piasecki Charitable Trust
4. A donation of $8,330.75 to CRLS for field trips for the students in the Functional Academics classroom made by the estate of Linda Town, longtime CRLS teacher.
5. A donation of $400 to the CRLS Scholarship Fund made by an individual donor.
6. $516.18 to the Kennedy Longfellow School made from HELPSY, in return for items collected in the School's clothing/book collection box. Funds will be used for the general support of the school.
