That Superintendent's Recommendation #20-199, Grant Award, be adopted as follows: that the School Committee accept and approve the grant award below in the amount and for the period indicated as detailed in the document.
Summer and Vacation Learning Program, for the period July 8, 2020 to August 31, 2021, in the amount of $34,000.00. (SC21201).
Description: These funds will support the enhancement of our summer programs (Elementary, ELL, and OSS) with the addition of specialists in Ed. Tech, Visual and Performing Arts, Library, and PE teachers ($12,000). They will also support the two vacation math camps ($12,000) and Saturday math programs at PAUS and CSUS ($10,000.). Funds will be used for stipends and for supplies for the vacation math camps.
