This grant will support professional development in the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), an approach which utilizes an array of assessments to construct a picture of the whole child, including their cultural background and past experience.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Through the use of a comprehensive array of tiered interventions targeted to each student's individual profile, we will be able to prevent the inappropriate referral of students to Special Education and ensure equity for members of marginalized subgroups.</span></p>A true copy:
