<p class="MsoNormal" style="tab-stops: 384.0pt;"></p> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="line-height: 200%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">That Superintendent's Recommendation #20-201, Grant Award, be adopted as follows:<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>that the School Committee accept approve the grant award below in the amount and for the period indicated as detailed in the document.</span></p> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">Special Education IDEA Allocation, for the period September 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, in the amount of $2,650,192.00.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>(SC21605).<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: .5in;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><u><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">Description</span></u></strong><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">:<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The purpose of this Federal Entitlement Grant Program is to provide funds to ensure that eligible students with disabilities receive a free and appropriate public education that includes special education and related services designed to meet their individual needs.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The temporary salaries line is an offset for the Proportionate Share of services provided to private school students.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The remainder will be used for out-of-district tuition for students, with the exception of $3,000.00 for membership dues to the Massachusetts Urban Project.</span></p>A true copy:
