That Superintendent's Recommendation #18-42, approval of Gift of $500.00, be adopted as follows: that the School Committee accept

and approve a gift of $500.00 to the Science Department from the Brookline Bird Club to benefit each of the K-5 school libraries. Books will be

used by second grade teachers to give students background information about temperate forest and meadow environments before students visit

the Maynard Ecology Center to observe these two environments.
