<p>That the School Committee go on record congratulating three CRLS student athletes that have been name Boston Herald All Scholastics; and</p> <p>Whereas, Khai Smith, Boys Basketball; Sophia Vital, Girls Basketball and Thomas McGaffigan, Boys Hockey have all received this distinguished honor; and</p> <p>Whereas, we recognize that they have all worked very hard and persevered in earning this great and deserved recognition. They are all proven team and school leaders and were great representatives of their teams and the Cambridge Community; and </p> <p>Whereas, Khai Smith recorded his 1,000 point, as well as his 1,000 rebound.</p> <p>He was the Dual County League MVP and led the team all the way to the North Semi Final Round.</p> <p>Khai has been named to the Dream Team (top five players in the state). and </p> <p>Whereas, Sophia Vital recorded a quadruple double (double figures in 4 statistical categories) this season.</p> <p>She was also recognized as the Dual County League MVP. Sophia led the team to the North Finals and has been named to the Dream Team (top five players in the state); and </p> <p>Whereas, Thomas McGaffigan recorded his 100th point of his hockey career, not only did he break the all time point record, but he shattered it finishing with 135 career points.</p> <p>Thomas captained the team to the North Finals; Therefore be it</p> <p>Resolved That the Executive Secretary be and hereby is requested to forward a suitably engrossed copy of this resolution to each of the student athletes on behalf of the entire School Committee.</p>
