H410 | Honors | Constitutional Law of the United States Honors

Course Description

The practice of Constitutional Law comes alive in this class, where you will quickly apply your understanding of the constitutional rights of students, and the landmark judicial decisions that have changed their interpretation over time, to creating strong oral arguments in a moot court setting. Our study is anchored by the textbook, We, the Students, written by the U.S. Representative and Constitutional law professor Jamie Raskin. The course is co-taught by a CRLS History teacher and 2nd year Suffolk University Law School students, who work together to prepare students for participation in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Moot Court Competition at the local and national levels.
