Swim Team Details
Swim Team
Darby Vassall Upper School, War Memorial - Pool
Swim Team - this is NOT an introductory swim class, but a chance to participate in competitive swim team training and races. Students must be able to swim the length of the pool on their front and back and will be learning race strokes (backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle and butterfly). Once a week from 3/23 -4/16. Days TBA. Final Meet on 4/16. There will be no session during April Vacation Please bring a swimsuit, towel, goggles and swim cap (for long hair) with you to school on these dates.Eligibility: To be eligible: - A valid physical exam on file (or doctor’s note with clearance to play sports) within the last 13 months submitted to the nurse and/or Ms. O'Brien - Students must complete this online Concussion Course: https://nfhslearn.com/courses/concussion-for-students and send PDF certificate to Ms. O'Brien --> Instructions here: https://tinyurl.com/2me438hx email: cobrien@cpsd.us
